I’m thinking of hosting some fly fishing talks on Zoom. Probably a weeknight, probably evening time frame. If you’re interested, please leave a comment and let me know. This is simply to gauge a general interest level. And please tell me how you’d like it structured — would you like me to choose from my exitsting presentations (shortened since I’d only have 40 minutes) like Wet Flies 101 or Trout Fishing for Stripers — or would you rather have it be more free form, maybe a general subject like smallmouth on the fly, or Help! I suck at nymphing, or fly tying/design, etc.? And of course, we could do both!
I look forward to hearing from you.
No sleeping while I’m talking…
Love the idea. I would like to see some discussion about fly fishing and tying flatwing flies!
Lee, can you send me a valid email address to swculton@yahoo.com?
Since I live in the North Country and can’t get down to your presentations, I would love to have you do some of those, especially striper related and “small things”
I’d love to hear some of your existing ones but whatever you decide, I’m interested – thx!
New to your sight. Would like to see your presentations
GREAT IDEA!
The information in your posts is always very interesting and professionally presented.
Whatever the topic, fresh or saltwater, tactics or strategies, tying demo or tall tale telling I’d like to participate.
Thank you.
I’d be in Steve, but might suggest shorter bites (pun intended), maybe more in 20 min range? That may be a bad suggestion, as I don’t know what presentations you’d be adapting from, might be hard to cut down. DD

Sounds interesting. I read your posts on fishing and tying wet flies. If I’m being honest, I don’t think much when I fish wets. Typically it’s after I’ve nymphed upstream and heading back downstream. So I’d be interested in anything related to wets. Especially how to determine which fly to put on point and those on a tag.
Hey Steve,
I would love to attend some online talks. My FF club (The Metropolitan Fly Fishing Club) has now done a couple of online events in the past couple of weeks. What I liked personally was a structured talk, followed by a traditional Q&A.
On topic, I’d love to talk stripers and hear about your well known advocacy of floating lines.
Best,
Chris
sure… maybe your fly tying with 20 minutes on:
1- single flatwings
2- bucktails like – Magot Smelt, Ray’s, Morning Glory
3- favorite Striper flies
Hi Steve. I’d be very interested in participating. I’m a novice FF, interested in freshwater though I’d probably participate regardless of the topic since I need help in all areas. Thanks.
Would love to listen in on, honestly, any of your presentations.
I would be interested and think that picking from one of your existing presentations would make the most sense in the beginning.
Zoom evening presentation would be great
I would be interested as well.
Yes I Definitely want to Zoom
I’ve been tying some wets lately

Trout fishing for stripers would be awesome!
I think it’s a great idea. I would attend either structured or unstructured.
Would like to hear about nymphing as I still have a hard time.
Let’s do it!
I think it is great idea!!
I’ve been zooming for three weeks and would love to actually look forward to one!!
David, can you send me a valid email address to swculton@yahoo.com?
This sounds like a great idea! Would love some Zoom fly tying work shops. I.e. we all get on Zoom, you tie a fly, and we all follow along.
Yes. How to tie and fish multiple flies is puzzling to me. Jackccrowley5@gmail.com TUNNJ Sparta, NJ
I would like to be included, anything striper related would be great.
