I just got back from a two-day steelhead trip with middle son Cam. You’ll understand that I’m a little wiped, and with the holiday tomorrow, a little busy. So the full story will have to wait. I can tell you that the conditions were challenging and we had to work hard for every fish. Until then, here’s a little salmonid taste to tide you over on turkey day. Be safe, be well, and please know that I am truly thankful for your readership and following.
Skunk’s off. Also something to be thankful for.

Beautiful fish and happy Thanksgiving to you and the family.
Thanks, Brian. Same to you and yours! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Thank you, David, and right back atcha! 🙂
Steve have you ever thought of going to BC and fishing one of those famous Steelhead rivers like the Thomson?
I sure have, Bill. As youth the Babine was marked a future destination (from Joe Brooks’ “Trout Fishing” book. We’ll see if we can get out there some day.
Excellent I hope you make it. This is why I have now started fishing Alaska. The Last Frontier.
Unspoiled for now and they also have steelhead fishing which I have never tried but will . Bill
I love steelhead. I think you will too. Alaska sounds like an amazing place. When’s your next trip?
I was pushed back to 2021 because of Covid. It all depends on the vaccine. The village is closed to outsiders. Once the vaccine is in place hopefully we will be able to fish. You should come to Alaska you would really enjoy it. Bill
