Those look mighty tasty! What is the body of the grizzly and gray? If it’s not top secret, thanks.
I’ve been doing very well with a PT and partridge lately. So simple, yet so irresistible.
Thanks for the sneak peek, Steve.
Hi Mina,
No secrets. That’s an old legacy pattern. Tail and hackle are grizzly hen, fine silver tinsel, black thread, and muskrat fur. Certainly you could use any kind of gray fur. Rabbit comes to mind.
I would think that it would work just fine, thank you, for Hendricksons.
Glad you’re doing well.
Thanks for the info, I’ll spin some up tonight. I’ve been having the best time swinging soft hackles, it’s incredibly relaxing and just a fun way to fish.
It sure is.
Good stuff!
The trout think so, too.
It’s good to have a balanced diet! 🙂
Caddis, mayflies, midges, stones….
