Just got back from three days on the Salmon River. This fall’s steelhead fishing has been very spotty, so wasn’t I more than pleased to land this magnificent chrome hen a few hours into the trip. Full report to come.

Nice Fish Steve. Joel & I are headed up for 4 days and going out with Jim on our 2nd day.Where did you float Altmar to pineville?Joel and I like to walk & explore any sugestions on where we might find some fish and a few less people?

What a spectacularly stunning fish! Did she jump at all? Either way that is a great way to start off a trip, I can’t see it getting any better from there though! 😉
