Getting closer to returning to a semblance of normal

As I write this, we are moved in to the new house but still unpacking and getting organized. The old house is sold and we bid it a very fond farewell. This week will be (I hope) the final week of archival posts. I’d like to thank you for your patience during this incredibly busy time.

Speaking of incredibly busy, I’m about to resume formal work on my upcoming book, the Fly Fishing Guide to the Farmington River. I’m going to be giving you, my readers, a chance to participate in that endeavor — stay tuned for details!

    Good Morning Steve!

Just hopped into my email to look you up…and it seems you have been really busy! Hope all continues to transition well.

I am heading up from Cincinnati, OH to be with my brother Steve in Westfield, MA between May 14- 17 (he has just completed 4 months of chemotherapy…it’s a support visit). We have talked about his fatigue levels and he has agreed to grant me some fishing time.

Is there a chance you may have an open half-day slot in your guide schedule for any of the three days listed above? I use to live in Simsbury CT and fished the Farmington with light spinning gear (1985) but now fly fish (primarily Euro).

Would love to hook up with your services.

    Thanks…and best regards!
